Annie a obtenu son doctorat de l'Université Laval, à Québec, sous la direction de Drs. Michel Boivin et Simon Larose. Pendant son doctorat elle a séjourné à l'Université de Regensburg, en Allemagne, où elle a travaillé en collaboration avec Drs. Peter Zimmermann, Karin Grossmann et Klaus Grossmann. Elle a par la suite complété un internat clinique au Centre de counseling de l'Université du Maine puis un stage de recherche postdoctoral dirigé par Dr. Mary Dozier à l'Université du Delaware. Annie s'est jointe à l'Université de Montréal en 2002, où elle est actuellement professeure titulaire au sein du département de psychologie. Ses intérêts de recherche comprennent notamment les relations parent-enfant, le sommeil, les fonctions exécutives, le développement du cerveau et le fonctionnement socio-émotionnel des jeunes. Annie received her PhD from Université Laval in Québec City, under the supervision of Dr. Michel Boivin and Dr. Simon Larose. During her PhD she completed a research internship at the University of Regensburg in Germany, working with Drs. Peter Zimmermann, Karin Grossmann and Klaus Grossmann. She then completed a pre-doctoral clinical internship at the University of Maine Counseling Center before spending two years at the University of Delaware as a post-doctoral research fellow with Dr. Mary Dozier. Annie joined the University of Montreal in 2002, where she is currently a professor at the Department of Psychology. Her scientific interests include parent-child relationships, sleep, executive functioning, brain development, and socioemotional adjustment in youth.
