Laurie a complété son baccalauréat en psychologie à l’Université McGill en 2026, où elle a développé un intérêt marqué pour les facteurs qui influencent le développement cérébral et cognitif à tout âge. Elle a réalisé son deuxième projet de psychologie Honor à l’hiver 2026 sous la supervision d’Annie Bernier et poursuivra ses études au doctorat en neuropsychologie clinique – recherche intervention à l’automne 2026. Ses intérêts de recherche portent sur le développement du cerveau de l’enfant et de l’adolescent, l’électrophysiologie et le développement des fonctions exécutives. Dans ses temps libres, Laurie aime courir au bord de l’eau, lire et explorer sa créativité à travers les arts.

Laurie obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology at McGill University in 2026, where she developed a strong interest in the factors that influence brain and cognitive development across the lifespan. She completed her second Psychology Honours project in Winter 2026 under the supervision of Annie Bernier and will pursue a PhD in Clinical Neuropsychology in Fall 2026. Her research interests focus on brain development in children and adolescents, electrophysiology, and the development of executive functions. In her free time, Laurie enjoys running, reading, and exploring her creativity through the arts.
